About my work

My creative process is deeply rooted in observation and intuition. I’m inspired by the textures, shapes, and stories embedded in the materials I find—often things that others might overlook. Each piece begins with a vision sparked by a moment, a memory, or a feeling, and evolves as I respond to the character of the materials in front of me. I approach the process as both art and meditation—shaping, arranging, and refining until the work feels whole. It’s a way of giving new life to the forgotten, and turning everyday remnants into something meaningful and lasting.

About me

My name is Chad Newhouse, and I am a dedicated artist and woodworker with over 12 years of hands-on experience creating one-of-a-kind pieces from reclaimed materials. What began as a personal outlet has grown into a passion for turning the overlooked into the unforgettable. Drawing inspiration from the discipline, teamwork, and resilience found in sports, I bring that same energy and focus to every creation. I’m driven by a love for craftsmanship, a respect for the stories behind found objects, and a desire to create something lasting and meaningful.
